Your Legacy, Our Future
HMCKC provides two ways that you can support the long-range success of the chorus through planned giving. They are becoming a member of the Legacy Society or making a donation to the Endowment Fund.
JOINING the LEGACY SOCIEeTY:
Joining the Legacy Society is the process of making a contribution to HMCKC through a future-oriented financial or estate plan. There are several ways you can make a lasting gift that supports both your loved ones and the Heartland Men’s Chorus Kansas City:

Include a gift to HMCKC in your will or living trust.

Establish a trust that provides income to you or your loved ones during your lifetime, with the remaining assets passing to HMCKC upon your death.

Name HMCKC as a sole or co-beneficiary of your policy, or donate a fully paid policy to receive current tax benefits.

Name HMCKC as a beneficiary of your IRA, SEP, Roth IRA, or 401(k) plan to support the Chorus while reducing potential estate taxes.

Designate HMCKC as the beneficiary of mutual funds or brokerage accounts to seamlessly transfer assets upon your death.
There may be other ways in which you can give from your estate! Please check with your financial planner for the option that works best for you. Donating to the Endowment Fund:
Currently administered by the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and Baird Financial Services Company, the Heartland Men’s Chorus Endowment Fund is a resource that ensures the long-term financial health of the Chorus, by providing infrastructure to further the mission and vision of the organization by enhancing programs, operations, and capital investments. The fund was created in 1998, and honors former Artistic Directors, Executive Directors, and other leaders for their years of service to the Chorus.
